BUSINESS SERVICE PROGRAM

LEVEL I - OFFICE PRACTICE SERVICES

  DESCRIPTION
Switchboard Services
  • Calls can be diverted to switchboard during busy times or absence from premises.
  • Calls can be answered in your business name.
  • Messages can be taken and forwarded to you via hard copy, email or phone.

 

Voice Mailbox
  • DECL phone system calls can be diverted to message bank and retrieved off site.

 

Telephone Equipment
  • Handset and Commander System.
  • Includes Extention number/phone line and message bank.

 

Fax Service
  • Reception can receive all incoming faxes and distribute these to your business.
  • Outgoing fax services through reception.

 

Postal Service
  • Pick up and distribution of your mail.
  • Free access to private box (PO BOX 5164, Alphington VIC 3078).
  • All outgoing mail is placed in in-tray in reception and posted at end of day.
  • Postage stamps and postal rates available at reception.
  • Express items can be posted if handed into reception by 3pm.

 

Courier Services
  • Overnight courier services can be organised for packages given to reception, courier coupons are charged to their consumables account.
  • Reception can also accept, sign and hold packages delivered by couriers and then contact businesses to pick up from admin.

 

Photocopier
  • Individual code for access.
  • Perform a range of functions e.g. back-to-back, collation, A3, reduce/enlarge etc.
  • Print softcopy through administration.

 

Conference Room
  • Conference/board room/temporary office/ meeting (60m²)

 

Audio-Visual Equipment
  • Video.
  • Data Projector.
  • Electronic White Board.
  • 5 Mega pixel Digital Camera.

 

Office Furniture
  • Filing Cabinets, Desks, Chairs etc.

 

Rubbish Collection
  • Weekly collection 1m³ - 3m³.

 

Vacuum Cleaner
  • Industrial Wet-Vac.
  • Office Vac.

 

Miscellaneous Stationery
  • Binding for manuals, booklets and reports.
  • Label sheets.
  • Reams of paper.
  • CDRW/floppy disks etc.

 

Freight Loading/Unloading
  • Forklift unloading of palleted freight (only used by DECL and other licenced operators).

 

Miscellaneous - Other Equipment
  • Includes guillotine, electric/digital scales, workbench & stationery items at photocopier (stapler, scissors, sticky tape, pens, paper, ruler etc.).

 

Clerical/Secretarial Services
  • Typing of letters/documents.
  • Mail Merge.
  • Database Preparation.
  • Labels.
  • Invoices.
  • Desktop Publishing.

 

Monitored Security
  • Office block Alarm controlled by A.R.T Security.
  • Security Patrol at night and on weekends by C.B.D Security.

 

Broadband Internet Connection
  • High-speed broadband connection.

 

Cleaning
  • Weekly cleaning of offices or workshops.

 

 

LEVEL II - MANAGEMENT ASSISTANCE SERVICES

THE FOLLOWING SERVICES ARE PROVIDED AT NO COST TO INCUBATOR BUSINESSES:

1. 16 HOURS PER MONTH FOR BUSINESSES IN THEIR 1st YEAR AT THE CENTRE.

2. 12 HOURS PER MONTH FOR BUSINESSES IN THEIR 2nd YEAR AT THE CENTRE.

3. 8 HOURS PER MONTH FOR BUSINESS IN THEIR 3rd YEAR AT THE CENTRE.

*HOURS ARE NOT CUMULATIVE.

*SERVICE AT NEGOTIATED PRICE FOR BUSINESS AT THE CENTRE FOR MORE THAN THREE YEARS.

 

Administrative Services
  • Review of current systems and practices.
  • Assistance in the design and set-up of appropriate office management systems e.g.

Assistance with:

  • Position descriptions.

  • Access to IP Australia 'Toolbox resources'.
  • Onsite information sessions from IP Australia personnel.

 

Insurance
  • Access to business insurance (Contents, Public Liability, Product/Professional Liabilty etc),

 

Sounding Board
  • Appraisal from panel on a "one off" business development proposal.

 

Interim Board
  • Establish interim or temporary boards to meet regularly to provide feedback across business development.
